What Photos are Really About...A Must Read

Wow. This came across my Facebook news feed this morning and I had to share because this is why I cherish photos so much, especially the ones I have from my childhood. It makes me know that my new Storytelling Sessions carry meaning and I'm proud to help make memories for families :)

New Year & Old Friends...The Levine Museum of the New South

Wow. 1/1/12. I foresee at least three months' worth of writing 2011 by accident.


Last night was perfect. My brother and his girlfriend came over to eat take-n-bake pizza and watch The Hangover 2 before we stood out on our balcony and watched First Night Charlotte ring in the new year. Shortly after midnight, we eventfully went to bed.


Just the night before, we celebrated the nuptials of my brother's friend since high school, Leeland, and his new bride at the Levine Museum of the New South. It's been awesome living Uptown and getting to walk to places like this. Since we have known Leeland and his family for over 10 years, it was like a reunion at his wedding. I have not seen him since he joined the Navy at least two years ago and I last saw his sister at my bridal shower in April 2010.


Another lovely surprise was to see friends of the groom/wedding clients from last June, Casey & Ben. I ran into them this summer after their honeymoon and it was nice to catch up with them again. When their family grows, I would love to be there to document it for them. They couldn't be a cuter couple and have the nicest families ever :)
